For instance, it is used to create content that users will find appealing, it helps companies reduce trends and patterns from large amounts of data, and it is a helpful tool when it comes to editing and recording. However, AI has also been used to create and spread misinformation online. Whether it be through deep fakes, fabricated evidence, or defamation, these acts are unjust and should be brought to our attention. In committee, Senators will be tasked with creating regulations surrounding Artificial Intelligence, striving to honor the potential that it has to create societal advancements while also considering the ethical and legal restrictions that should be in place.
